The Best Camera

The best camera is the one you have with you. I have missed amazing opportunities because I didn’t have my Canon with me when I could quite easily have used my phone.

Missing a moment because it didn’t feel right was unnecessary. What I saw was unique to me. A moment in time that could not me recreated by coming back again at another time, hoping for the right light the right lens and the right weather.

For that reason some of the posts on my website will be taken with my phone and others after painstakingly seeking out a location and breaking out my DSLR or Mirrorless.

In these days of technology it is easy to become a “photo-snob”.

Use what you have at hand. Play with the angles. Enjoy the process and most of all take the photo.

It is a record of who you are and what you love…..in the moment.

Tomorrow is another day and a chance to change if you want to …. Or not.
